Paradise Tropical Blast 200g - Tutti Frutti Freeze Shisha Steam Stones

Paradise Tropical Blast: tutti frutti with tropical fruit and an ice-cold freeze. You get the steam stones in a generous 200 gram tub. The label names the flavor Tutti Frutti Freeze, and that is exactly what you get. A cheerful fruit mix for your hookah, with a cold finish that keeps it fresh. No tobacco is involved.

What is tutti frutti, actually?

The term comes from Italian and literally means all fruits. In ice cream and candy it stands for a mix in which no single fruit is the boss. That is also the idea behind this shisha flavor: you do not taste one fruit, but a sunny combination that brings to mind a bowl full of tropical kinds. That makes tutti frutti a flavor that hardly ever goes wrong.

What does Paradise Tropical Blast taste like?

The first impression is sweet and fruity, with the lively tone you expect from tropical fruit. Because it is a mix, the flavor keeps moving: one draw tastes sweeter, the next fresher. Then the freeze takes over. It gives a cool sensation in your mouth and throat, comparable to menthol, and makes the vapor light. The interplay between sweet fruit and cold is what makes this flavor so refreshing.

What does the freeze do in this flavor?

Freeze is the name for a cool addition to the flavor. The label shows ice next to it, and that says enough. It keeps the fruit mix from getting heavy, even when you smoke for a long time. So you do not need to add a separate mint flavor to keep it fresh. Want it less cold instead? Then mix Tropical Blast with a flavor without cooling, more on that below.

Steam stones instead of tobacco

Paradise does not make this flavor with tobacco leaf but with mineral granules. The Dutch company Paradise Supplies B.V. gives those granules their flavor with its own molasses mix and aromas. This tub contains 0 mg nicotine. According to the brand, the flavors were worked out together with shisha lounge owners, so they perform well in the hookahs you come across in a lounge.

How to prepare Tropical Blast

Take a clean bowl from the hookah bowls and fill it with the granules to just below the rim. Let them lie loosely, so air can pass between them easily. Cover the bowl with perforated foil or with a heat management device. Start with two coals and give the bowl a few minutes to warm up. With an electric coal burner your coals glow in no time, without a flame and without fiddling with gas.

Cold stays cold if you heat calmly

The freeze is sensitive to heat. Put too many coals on the bowl and the cold disappears first, leaving a sweet, somewhat harsh vapor. So start calmly and only add a coal when the vapor gets thinner. If it has become too hot, lift the foil or the cap for a moment and let the bowl cool down for a minute. That keeps the balance between fruit and cold.

Combining with other Paradise flavors

Tropical Blast is easy to expand. With Paradise Miracle Blast you add an exotic mango mix, which makes the flavor fuller and less cold. Pick Paradise Amore Mio and pineapple and banana join in, with another cool touch behind them. Place the flavors side by side in the bowl, each in its own half, and taste which ratio you like best.

Pure or as a base?

Tropical Blast works fine when you smoke it pure, because the mix is already complete. Still, it is also a good base for anyone who likes to experiment. Since the tutti frutti already contains so much fruit, you can place almost any fruit flavor beside it without a clash. Start with a small amount of the second flavor, for example a quarter of the bowl, and build it up next time if you like it.

Storing an opened tub

After opening, you want the granules to keep their moisture. So close the lid firmly after every session and put the tub in a cool spot out of the sun. Take the granules with a dry spoon and do not leave the tub open on the table while you smoke.

Who is Tropical Blast for?

For everyone who loves fruity and cold. On a warm day on the terrace, a balcony or in the garden, this is a flavor that fits. When smoking with a group, tutti frutti is a good choice too, because it is so broad. See more flavors from the brand at Paradise Steam Stones, where all the variants sit side by side.
