Paradise Climax Watermelon Chill 200g - Shisha Steam Stones with Cool Watermelon

Paradise Climax Watermelon Chill: juicy watermelon with a cool touch, as steam stones for your hookah. You get a 200 gram tub full of mineral granules, without tobacco. The name on the label already tells you what to expect. Watermelon stands for the sweet fruit, Chill for the cooling that follows it.

Why does watermelon work so well in a hookah?

Watermelon is light in character. The flavor is sweet, but thanks to the juicy, almost watery nature of the fruit it is never heavy. That makes watermelon shisha pleasant to smoke for a long time, even when it is warm. It is a flavor many people search for, and one you regularly see on the menu in lounges. Beginners usually like it straight away too, because the flavor is recognizable and asks for little technique.

What does Paradise Climax taste like?

On the first draw you taste the sweet, fresh side of ripe watermelon. The flavor is clear and summery, with a juiciness that brings to mind a cold slice of melon from the fridge. Only towards the end of each draw do you notice the chill. It makes the vapor cooler and keeps the sweetness in check, so the whole stays light.

What does Chill mean in the name?

Chill is how Paradise indicates that a cool touch belongs with the watermelon. The label shows a glass of watermelon juice with a slice of melon, and that image matches the flavor. The difference with a regular watermelon is that Climax is not only sweet, but also refreshing. For anyone looking for something light in summer, that is exactly the right combination.

Paradise and its steam stones

Paradise Supplies B.V. is the Dutch company behind the Paradise brand. Where regular shisha tobacco puts tobacco leaf in the bowl, Paradise uses mineral granules. They get their flavor from its own molasses with aromas. So there is no tobacco in it, and nicotine is missing too: 0 mg. According to the brand, the flavors came about in consultation with shisha lounge owners.

Getting ready for a fresh session

Put the granules loosely into the bowl without pressing them down and leave a narrow edge free. With a fresh flavor like Climax, a heat management device from our Kaloud and metal chimney range is a good choice. It lets you control the heat more finely than foil, which helps keep the chill cool. Foil works too, as long as you poke enough holes in it.

Light the coals with a gas coal burner and they are ready within a few minutes. Place two of them and wait a moment before you start. During the first minutes the vapor is still building up.

Calm heating keeps the chill cool

The cool touch is the first thing to disappear when the bowl gets too hot. If Climax only tastes sweet, or the vapor turns harsher, that is the sign to take a coal off. Rather a little less heat and a full flavor than too much heat and a flat one. When in doubt, lift the cap or the foil briefly to let the bowl cool down.

Mixing watermelon

Watermelon is a fine flavor to combine with. With Paradise Chillema you add lemon and a cool minty touch, and you get something reminiscent of summery lemonade. Paradise Love 99 brings in more melon, together with passion fruit and peppermint. Divide the bowl into two parts and taste which side you like best.

Climax or Moonshine?

Paradise has two flavors that revolve around melon. Climax is watermelon with a cool touch: light, juicy and fresh. Moonshine is honeydew melon with an ice-cold freeze, which turns out sweeter and colder. If you love a light summery flavor, Climax is the best pick. Looking for lots of cold instead? Then Moonshine suits you better.

Storage

Close the lid properly after use. A cupboard out of the sun and away from the radiator is the best spot, so the granules keep their moisture and the watermelon stays juicy in flavor. Do not leave the tub open while smoking, because even an hour of open air already dries out the top layer.

Who is Climax for?

For everyone who loves light, fresh fruit flavors. On a terrace, in the garden or on a warm evening indoors, this is a flavor that always fits. Also see the rest of the range at Paradise Steam Stones if you are looking for a second flavor.
