Do not overfill the vase: the water level should be slightly below the insertion opening of the shaft. This way, the smoke calmly passes through the water without splashing. A filling height of about 2 to 3 centimeters below the opening is ideal for most shisha models.

Want to keep your session extra cool? Add a few ice cubes to the water. This cools the smoke and makes the draw smoother. For an extra flavor impression, you can also add some mint leaves or lemon to the water. This is purely for the scent, not for the taste of the smoke itself.

Cleaning and maintenance

After each session, rinse the vase thoroughly with warm water. Discard the used water and rinse the inside thoroughly. Use a vase cleaner or brush to remove stubborn residue. This prevents odors and tastes from forming during the next session.
