• Place two lit coals in the HMD. Ensure the coals are glowing thoroughly before placing them in.
• For a more intense session, you can place a third coal between the other two and the rim of the HMD.
• Allow the HMD to warm up for a minute or two before you start drawing. This ensures the heat is well distributed when you start.

Stainless steel heats up quickly. In practice, two coals are enough for a full session. This saves coals and keeps your flavor fresher. Want more heat? Add an extra coal. Want to cool down? Remove one. The control is entirely yours.

Preferably use good hookah natural coals in combination with the HMD. Quick-lighting coals give more chemical aftertaste and are less suitable if you want to manage heat through an HMD.

Maintenance and cleaning

The WD Hookah HMD is easy to clean. Stainless steel does not attract grease and ash in the way other materials do. After your session, let the HMD cool down. Then rinse it under warm water and use a soft brush or sponge to remove ash and residue. This is sufficient for normal use.

Is there stubborn dirt? Let the HMD soak for fifteen minutes in hot water with a little dish soap. Dry it completely before storing it. Never put the HMD away on a surface that cannot withstand heat if it is still warm. Use a coal holder for your shisha or hookah to safely set down the HMD after the session.
