Step by step: lighting coals with the electric coal burner

Place the coal burner on a heat-resistant, flat surface. Think of a ceramic tile or a stone cutting board. Plug it into the socket. Turn the knob to the desired setting. Place the coconut coals flat on the heating surface.

After two to three minutes, the bottoms begin to glow. Then turn the coals over with tongs. Do this carefully, as the heating surface is hot. After another two minutes, most coals are completely red. Are they glowing on all sides? Then they are ready. Place them on the hookah bowl with the hookah tongs.

Always use heat-resistant tongs. Never touch the coals with your hands. And never leave the coal burner unattended. After use: turn the knob back to zero and unplug it.

Maintenance and cleaning

After each session, let the coal burner cool down completely. Then wipe the heating surface with a dry cloth or a soft brush to remove ash residue. Never use water on the heating surface. This will damage the coil.

Store the coal burner in a dry place, preferably in a storage bag or box, so it remains dust-free. Occasionally check that the cord is not damaged. Is the cord damaged? Then do not use the device until it has been repaired.
