• Loosely fill the screen with your favorite shisha tobacco. Do not press it down, so that air can flow well.
• Cover with aluminium foil or a Kaloud Lotus and poke the holes as you normally would.
• Place the coals on top and enjoy.

The order remains the same as without a screen. The only difference is that the tobacco now rests on the screen, so nothing can fall through.

Which coals are best for this use?

For the best results, use shisha natural coals like Tom Coco or Black Coco. These provide even heat without sharp temperature spikes, so you really notice the benefits of good airflow. Quick-lighting coals are less suitable, as they give an immediate, uneven heat that quickly burns your tobacco.

Cleaning and maintenance

After each session, rinse the screen under the tap. Are there stubborn residues? Soak the screen in warm water with a little dish soap. After five minutes, rinse and it's done. The material is sturdy enough to do this regularly without it deforming or rusting.

Store the screen dry, preferably with your other hookah bowl parts. This way, you always have it on hand when you set up your shisha.
