How to clean your hookah

After every session, all sorts of things accumulate in your hookah: tobacco residue, molasses, limescale, and moisture. If you leave it there, your shisha will quickly smell musty, and new sessions will taste bitter. A good shisha cleaning brush is therefore not a luxury, but simply part of normal maintenance. What makes the Swan brush different

As the name suggests, the brush has a swan neck shape. The neck is flexible and bends as you clean. This allows you to reach the curves and narrow places in the pipe that an ordinary straight brush simply misses. The neck is approximately 30.5 cm long, and the total length is approximately 43 cm. That's enough to clean most hookahs from top to bottom, even the longer models.

At the end of the brush is a soft foam head. This cleans the surface without scratching glass, stainless steel, or aluminum. The fibers themselves are made of sturdy PE plastic, approximately 2.5 cm in diameter. They remove stubborn limescale and molasses residue without snagging or tearing. After use, rinse the brush under warm water, and it's immediately ready for the next time.

How to use the brush

Cleaning is easiest right after the session, when residue is still soft. Fill the hookah or the separate vase with warm water and a little dish soap or citric acid. Insert the brush and move it gently back and forth. The flexible neck adapts to the shape of the pipe. Then let it drain well and air dry. That's all you need.

Maintenance of the brush itself

The Swan brush is easy to maintain. Rinse it under warm running water after use. The PE fibers do not break easily and retain their shape, even after regular use. To dry it properly, lay it upright or hang it so that the water can drain away. This way, it will last a long time, and you won't have to replace it quickly.

Store the brush in a dry place, preferably not in a sealed bag immediately after use. Let it dry thoroughly first to prevent mold.
