Setup and first use

The Oduman Gusto XS is quick to set up. Fill the glass hookah vase with cold water just above the end of the downstem. Slide the shaft onto it and check that the connection is secure. Connect the hookah hose. Fill the hookah tobacco bowl with shisha flavor and place it on the shaft. Cover with aluminum foil or a kaloud, make holes, and place the coals on top. After two to three minutes of heating, the Gusto XS is ready for use.

Make sure to check the connections carefully before the first draw. A small air leak will immediately result in a lighter draw and less smoke.

Maintenance and cleaning

After each session, rinse the glass vase with warm water. Also rinse the shaft: remove the hookah hose, hold the shaft under the tap, and rinse thoroughly. Stainless steel does not require special cleaning agents. Occasionally, a round with a pipe cleaner or special brush will keep the inside of the shaft clean. Rinse the hose after use and let it dry thoroughly before storing it. This prevents the buildup of flavor residues.

Store the Gusto XS in the included carrying case when it's dry. This protects the glass vase and keeps all parts together.

The right coals for a good shisha session

Always use fully glowing hookah coals. Quick-lighting coals sometimes give an unpleasant aftertaste. Natural coconut shell coals give the cleanest taste and retain heat longer. Two cubes are enough for a 45 to 60-minute session. Choose from our shisha hookah coals, such as Tom Coco or Black Coco. Always heat completely on a hookah coal burner.
