What makes this shisha tobacco head different

Most tobacco heads are simply a stone or clay bowl with holes at the bottom. With the Silko Shiny Camouflage, the silicone part at the bottom acts as a collecting tray for excess molasses. Normally, this molasses flows into the shisha during smoking, quickly making the vase dirty and reducing the cleanliness of the flavor. Here, the silicone part catches it, so nothing seeps into the water. You'll notice it immediately: the flavor remains purer, and the vase stays cleaner.

The upper part is made of a stone formula that distributes heat evenly. This means the tobacco is heated slowly and from all sides, not just from above. The hole system consists of four holes (multi-hole), ensuring good airflow without the tobacco burning through too quickly.

The head has a height of approximately 87 mm. The tobacco reservoir has a diameter of approximately 55 mm and a depth of approximately 23 mm. This is spacious enough for a normally smoked amount of tobacco without having to overfill it. The color of the glaze on top is glossy black. Assembly and use

You place it just like any other shisha tobacco head: on the stem of your shisha, on the standard connection. Don't overfill the reservoir: leave a small space at the top so air can flow past the tobacco. Use aluminum foil or a Kaloud or chimney as a heat manager on top. With a chimney or hotscreen, you don't need to pierce foil and have much more control over the temperature.

If you want to use foil, don't pierce too few holes. With a multi-hole head with four holes at the bottom, a well-pierced foil is just as effective. Make sure the coals don't burn directly on the foil but are pushed slightly to the side when the head is up to temperature.

Cleaning and maintenance

After use, rinse the silicone part separately under warm water. The silicone releases molasses without soaking or brushing. Rinse the stone top with warm water as well. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, as they can penetrate the porous material. Let both parts dry thoroughly before reassembling and storing them. Thanks to the glazed interior of the reservoir, the tobacco sticks less than with an unglazed head.

The right coals for a good session

A stone head needs a little more heat than a thin clay head. Preferably use natural coals such as coconut coals. These burn more evenly and longer than quick starters and don't leave an aftertaste. Place two or three coals on the head at the beginning and add an extra coal later if the heat decreases. With shisha coals based on coconut, you generally have the best experience with a stone head.
