What makes the Kalifa Phunnel Bowl special?

The Kalifa Phunnel Bowl is no ordinary hookah bowl. Its material – a mixture of stone and clay – stores heat differently than regular pottery and distributes it evenly over the tobacco. This means: less burning, a longer session, and a more consistent flavor from start to finish.

The interior is glazed. This prevents tobacco juices and aromas from sticking. After the session, simply rinse the bowl with warm water. Every subsequent flavor will taste pure, without any aftertaste from the previous one.

The phunnel design features a single central hole at the bottom. This prevents liquids from dripping into the stem of your hookah. This keeps your shisha cleaner and extends its lifespan.

Dschinni The Crown HMD: no more foil needed

The Dschinni The Crown is a kaloud and metal chimney that sits on top of the hookah bowl. You place a maximum of three 26mm coconut coals inside, and the lid regulates the heat. Open the lid for more heat, close it to cool the bowl down. Simple and instantly effective.

The Crown also acts as a wind guard. Ash and sparks no longer fly around. Safer and less mess. With this product, you no longer need aluminum foil at all.

How to use this set?

Loosely fill the Kalifa Phunnel Bowl with shisha tobacco. Do not pack it too tightly – air needs to flow through. Place the bowl on your hookah. Place the Dschinni The Crown on top. Place glowing hookah coals in the Crown, distribute them evenly, and partially close the lid.

Take a few slow draws and check how the smoke feels. Too cool? Open the lid a little more. Too hot? Close it or remove a coal. Always use natural hookah coals or 26mm coconut coals – quick-light coals will give a chemical aftertaste.

Cleaning and maintenance

Rinse the Kalifa Phunnel Bowl with warm water after each session. The glazed interior does not require cleaning agents. Let the bowl dry thoroughly before storing it.

Brush the Dschinni The Crown clean with a soft brush once it has completely cooled down. Never put it away hot and do not immerse it in water while it is still hot. With proper maintenance, both parts will last for years.
