The Classic Midnight works well with two or three hookah coals. Start with two coconut coals and add a third if the smoke diminishes. Thanks to the generous outer diameter of approx. 7.8 cm, HMD systems such as the Kaloud Lotus 1+ fit well on this head. You don't need to use foil if you use an HMD. The space and tolerance of the head are adjusted for this.

The right shisha coals for this head

Preferably use natural hookah coals such as coconut coals. These burn stably and don't give an off-flavor. Quick-lighting coals are less suitable because they contain extra chemicals that can detract from the taste of your shisha tobacco. Good coals make a big difference with a vortex head, because the airflows direct the heat from the coals directly to the tobacco.

Don't have a good shisha coal burner yet? Then it's smart to get one. Coconut coals need a lot of heat to fully glow. With an electric coal burner, you'll be fine.

Maintenance and cleaning
