Assembling the hookah

Assembling a hookah is easy if you follow the steps. Fill the vase with cold water, but not too full: the bottom of the inner pipe should be a few centimeters below the water. Screw on the base plate and place the shaft on top. Connect the hookah hose and place the hookah bowl on the shaft. Use aluminum foil and poker or a kaloud chimney to distribute the heat evenly. Then place the coals on the bowl and you are ready to start.

Maintenance and cleaning

Rinse the vase after each session with lukewarm water and let it dry upside down. Smoke seeps into the water and that water leaves traces in the vase. So throw away the water after each session and rinse the vase immediately. This prevents deposits and bad odors next time.

Once a week a thorough cleaning: fill the vase halfway with warm water and a little dish soap, close the opening with your hand, shake well and then rinse several times. Do not use aggressive cleaners on aluminum, they will affect the surface. A soft bottle cleaner or long brush helps with stubborn deposits. Do you want to keep the outside clean? To properly ignite natural coals, you need a shisha charcoal burner. An electric model is the easiest solution at home: place the coals on it, wait 8 to 10 minutes and they are ready for use.
