How to use Gorilla hookah coals

Place the coals on a hookah coal burner and let them glow red hot. This takes an average of 8 to 12 minutes, depending on your coal burner. Then, use tongs to place them on your hookah tobacco bowl. Always use hookah tongs, never your bare hands.

Do you use aluminum foil and pokers? Then ensure an even distribution of coals over the foil. Do you use an HMD system? Then place the coals neatly in the holder. This way you won't burn the tobacco and you'll get the best taste.

Never place coals on a bowl that is not up to temperature. Start by heating your tobacco without coals or with coals at the edge, and then slowly move them towards the center. This gives the best results.

Storing coals and safe use

Store Gorilla coals dry and at room temperature. Damp coals are harder to light and produce more smoke when flaring up. A tightly closed box or a dry drawer works fine. Always use the coals indoors with enough fresh air, or outdoors. Allow used coals and ash to cool completely before discarding them.

Never touch the coals when they are hot. Use tongs. And do not use spirits, lighter fluid, or other liquids to light them faster. That is unsafe and gives an unpleasant taste.
