6. Push any small bubbles to the edge with a card or your finger.

Doesn't work the first time? Gently lift the glass before the adhesive fully sets, clean the screen again, and try again.

Maintenance and cleaning

The oleophobic coating ensures that fingerprints adhere less effectively. In practice, this means you'll have to wipe less often. If you want to clean the screen, use a dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth. Do not use wet wipes with alcohol, as this will damage the coating.

Has the protector gotten a deep scratch? Then it's time for a new one. A damaged protector offers less protection and can sometimes make the touchscreen less responsive. Fortunately, a replacement screen protector is much cheaper than a screen repair.
