What batteries do I need for the Dum LED Lighting?

The LED coaster itself runs on 3 AAA batteries. These are not included. The remote control requires a CR2025 coin cell battery, which is included.

Is the LED lighting waterproof?

The lighting is completely waterproof. You can safely place it under the vase of your hookah without it being damaged by contact with water.

Does the LED coaster fit under every hookah?

Not every hookah is suitable. The coaster works best with hookahs whose vase has a flat, round base with enough space for an 8 cm diameter disc. Please check this in advance.

How many colors can I set?

Using the remote control, you can choose from various fixed colors or an automatically changing effect where the colors slowly blend into each other.

How long do the batteries last?

Can I also use the LED lighting with brands other than Dum?

The LED coaster is not brand-specific. As long as your hookah's vase has a flat bottom and the 8 cm disc fits well underneath, you can use it with any hookah.

The Dum LED Lighting is a small disc, 8 cm in diameter and 2.8 cm high, that you place under the vase of your hookah. As soon as you turn it on, it illuminates the vase from below, and you'll see every bubble that rises light up in color. This immediately gives your shisha session a completely different atmosphere. The product is from the brand Dum, known for practical and affordable hookah accessories.

You operate the lighting with the included remote control. With it, you can choose a color or set a changing light effect. You don't need to set anything up beforehand: the battery for the remote control (CR2025 button cell) is already included. For the lighting itself, you'll need 3 AAA batteries; these are not included with the product.

How to use and install the LED coaster

Usage is simple. Place the disc on a table or flat surface. Place the hookah vase on top of it. Make sure the vase is stable and well-balanced. Then insert 3 AAA batteries into the compartment on the bottom of the LED coaster. Turn it on with the remote control and choose your light color.

You can also choose an automatically changing effect, so the colors slowly blend. This works best when the room is a bit darker. During the day, the effect is less visible, but as soon as the sun sets or you dim the lights, you'll see it clearly.

Please note: the LED coaster belongs under the vase. Not in the vase, not around the vase. The disc shines light upwards through the bottom of the glass vase, thus illuminating the water inside.
