Product Description

The Aladin Coco 25MM hookah charcoal is made from pressed coconut shells and comes in a practical one kilogram pack. The 25 mm format is the most common size among hookah smokers: the cubes burn long and evenly, leave relatively little ash and bring no smell or flavor of their own. Your tobacco or paste tastes exactly the way it should.

Natural charcoal without additives

Unlike self-lighting charcoal, these cubes contain no chemical accelerants; it is compressed coconut shell material and nothing else. You notice it in heat that holds steady instead of climbing quickly and then dropping away. Curious about the alternatives? Compare them with our other natural charcoal or with the full hookah charcoal overview.

From cold cube to glowing coal

On an electric or gas charcoal burner, let the cubes glow through calmly until they are orange all round and a light rim of ash appears. Do not take them off any earlier, because a coal that is still black inside gives a sharp aftertaste. Move them with tongs from our coal holders and tongs, never with kitchen utensils.

Why most smokers land on 25 mm

The size refers to the dimensions of the cube. At 25 mm you have the most versatile format: it fits nearly every standard hookah bowl, and you dose simply by adding or removing a cube. If you are after a longer burn time for large bowls, the 27 mm version is the more interesting one. Both sizes come in the same one kilogram pack.

What to expect from the Aladin brand

Aladin is a well-known name and supplies hookahs and accessories alongside its charcoal. The Coco line is the coconut charcoal for everyday use: even cubes and a predictable burn time, with no smell or flavor of its own. You can browse the rest of the Aladin range in the brand collection, and if you would like to try a different brand, the CocoWawa coconut charcoal is ready and waiting.

Suitable for clay, phunnel and more

The type of bowl makes little difference to these cubes: on a traditional clay bowl they work just as well as on a phunnel or on a bowl with a heat management device. They are a neutral heat source, so the flavor comes entirely from your tobacco. That is practical if you switch hookah bowls regularly.

Stocking up without losing quality

A kilo covers a good number of sessions for the average smoker, provided you store the charcoal properly. Moisture is the only real enemy: it makes lighting harder and shortens the burn time. Close the pack after use and keep it somewhere dry and cool. That way the last cubes in the bag are still as good as the first.

About Aladin Coco 25MM Shisha Charcoal 1KG - Natural Coconut Charcoal for Hookah

Our reasons for stocking the Aladin Coco 25 mm

Clean burning and flavor neutral are the two things we look for in a coconut coal, and that is why Aladin Coco stays on our shelves. The price is fair, the quality does not wander from batch to batch, and 25 mm cubes drop neatly onto the average hookah bowl, which makes them an easy default for a regular smoker.

Quick-light coals have their place, but not in a session where the tobacco is the point. Natural coals ask for a burner and a bit of patience up front, and repay it with a steadier heat and none of the chemical edge.

Why choose Aladin Coco 25MM Shisha Charcoal 1KG - Natural Coconut Charcoal for Hookah

Aladin Coco 25 mm coconut charcoal, ordered online

The 25 mm cube from Aladin Coco is the everyday size for most pipes, and ShishaTabak ships it straight from stock. Anything ordered before 18:00 leaves the same day for next-day delivery in the Netherlands, and postage is on us from 89.99 euro. You will find the whole charcoal selection in our charcoal for hookahs category, with the pure natural coconut charcoal grouped separately. Stored somewhere dry, a kilo lasts well, so there is sense in keeping a second box on the shelf. If you are unsure which cube suits your bowl, the size menu switches between 25 mm and 27 mm, both supplied in the same one-kilo pack.

What the 25 mm cubes do well

Getting the most out of any charcoal comes down to preparation. Let the cubes glow through completely on a charcoal stove before they go anywhere near tobacco, and lift them with tongs from the charcoal tongs and holders rather than by hand. If you like comparing brands, our CocoWawa cubes make a fair benchmark, while the wider Aladin assortment covers pipes and parts from the same maker. The smaller 25 mm format comes up to temperature faster and gives you finer control over a light session.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

Is this a natural coal?
It is. Pressed coconut shell, with nothing added to make it light faster, which keeps the burn clean and predictable.
What is the right way to light the Aladin Coco coals?
A coal burner does the work, electric or gas, either is fine. Leave the cubes on it until no black is left, and then they are ready for the bowl.
Should I choose 25 mm or 27 mm?
It comes down to your bowl and your habits: the larger cube runs longer, while 25 mm is a little easier to work with on a smaller bowl. Both are listed in the size menu.
How much do I get in a kilogram?
The 1 kilogram pack contains plenty of cubes and will cover a good run of sessions, depending on how many you use per bowl.
Will the coals change the flavor of my tobacco?
They should not. Coconut coals of this quality are odourless and tasteless once lit, which leaves the blend to speak for itself.
Will a lighter work on these?
A burner is the only reliable method. Electric or gas coal burners bring the cube up to temperature evenly, and a lighter simply will not.
Does it matter how I store them?
Somewhere dry, with the packaging shut. Coconut coal draws moisture out of the air, and a damp cube needs far longer on the burner.
How fast is delivery?
Orders in before 18:00 go out for next-day delivery (NL), and delivery is free once you spend 89.99 euro.
