H2 470 B-BK Hookah 54 cm - Complete Shisha Set with Bowl, Hose and Two Ports

The H2 470 B-BK is a complete hookah set standing 54 centimeters tall and 16.5 centimeters wide. H2 is the hookah line of the Belgian company DUM and the 470 sits within the L'Original series. The suffix after the number marks the finish: B is the glossy, dark variant and BK indicates the black base.

Why those letter codes matter

This model exists in three finishes and five base colours, which means you can run into a B, a BK and an SS in webshops. Two connections, smoking together without changes

Halfway along the stem sit two ports opposite each other. In the basic setup you use one and the other stays closed. If you often smoke with several people, you need no different hookah: you simply connect a second hose. It also helps with passing around, because nobody has to reach across the table.

What is in the box

The set comes with the bowl and the metal top, a silicone hose, the mouthpiece with H2 engraving, a hose holder, the grommets and a screen. What is not included is a pair of coal tongs. You do need those to move coals, so count on that when ordering. A bowl, however, does not need to be bought separately; it comes along.

How do you assemble it?

Slide the stem into the base until the grommet seals properly, then place the tray. Fill the base so the stem sits about two centimeters below the water: too much water makes drawing heavy, too little gives harsh smoke. Then put the bowl with its metal top in place and connect the hose to one of the two ports. Leave the second port closed while smoking alone.

Base and spare parts

Bases are the most fragile part of a hookah, certainly if you move it often or clean it in the sink. What helps with this model is that the base is shared with the 452 from the same series, so you do not depend on one specific part. Grommets wear out over time as well; they are cheap to replace and stop your draw getting worse without you understanding why.

What we make no claims about

H2 publishes nothing about the material of the stem. One foreign dealer names aluminium, while the SS version of the same model points to stainless steel instead. So we leave the material out of the specifications rather than guessing at something that may not hold.

Maintaining a glossy finish

A high-gloss stem shows fingerprints faster than a matte one. A dry microfibre cloth afterwards is enough; abrasives or aggressive cleaners have no place here, because they attack the coating. Rinse the base after every session and let it drain upside down, so no water stays behind to smell musty next time. The bowl is worth rinsing after use as well.

Coals and heat at this size

At 54 centimeters this hookah sits in the middle segment: it holds heat better than a compact one, but asks for less than a large one. Three natural coals at the edge of the foil is a good starting point; browse the hookah charcoal for those. Rather start too low than too high: adding is always possible, but a scorched bowl you taste for the whole session.
