Step-by-step setup

The DUM Phillip P Silver Flame is quick to set up. Fill the glass vase with cold water to just below the connection of the smoke column. Screw the smoke column firmly. Connect the silicone hose to the hose holder. Place the hookah bowl on top of the smoke column with a piece of aluminum foil or a heat management device. Add your favorite shisha to the bowl and place the glowing coals on top. You are ready to begin.

Make sure all connections are tight. Loose connections cause air leakage and worsen the draw. The DUM Silver Flame is built so that all parts fit together precisely.

Cleaning and maintenance

After each session, rinse the glass vase with lukewarm water. Shaking and emptying is usually sufficient. If you use a shisha brush, you can also reach the inside of the smoke column. Rinse the silicone hose with clean water.

Choosing the right coals

Good coals make all the difference in a shisha session. Natural coals burn longer and impart less aftertaste than quick-lighting coals. For the DUM Silver Flame, round or square blocks work well, as they distribute heat evenly over the hookah bowl.
